Don’t fret. Fret’s on the bench. Run a little repair shop with Fret the ferret: restring guitars, tune them up, solder loose jacks and swap pickups for the regulars who come through the door.

A peek behind the counter

Every instrument that comes in is a small, hands-on job, and every customer has a story.

How a repair works

Customers bring their instruments to the counter, each with a ticket. Take the job, do it right at the bench, and they pay you back in coins and tips.

Spend what you earn on better tools and bench upgrades, decorate the shop, and earn certificates that bring new instruments through the door.

  • Take the ticket

    See what the customer needs: fresh strings, a tune-up, a crackly jack or a new pickup.

  • Get on the bench

    Wind the strings, turn the pegs to pitch, and solder each joint neat and shiny.

  • Hand it back

    A happy customer means coins and tips. A job well done earns stars.

  • Grow the shop

    Upgrade your tools and lamps, add decor, and take on bigger jobs.
